CoverGirl Smoothwear Lipgloss for $1.49

There is a great deal for CoverGirl Smoothwear Liptints Lipgloss in Mocha Mist from ULTA for only $1.49. It's a great sheer shade for fall. I've used this lipgloss before and it's not sticky or too shiny.

Perfect for Fall: Laura Mercier Lip Evolution

This Laura Mercier Lip Evolution of Colour in Plum Suede ($28.00, lauramercier.com) is so perfect for fall because you get four different shades from a soft pink and pinkish brown for day to a rasin and mauve for night.
The unique thing about this product is it looks like eye shadow but it's actually for your lips. You would think this would feel so dry on your lips but it actually doesn't it has a slightly creamy feel to it. I like it because I can throw this in my make-up bag and not worry about carrying two different lip glosses or lip sticks in my bag.

A Make-up Kit for the Girl on the Go by mark.

Sorry for the late post, very busy today and I'm getting ready to go out of town for the weekend.

But, I wanted to mention this great little make-up kit I bought from mark. It's called the mark. Sun Kissed Color Kit ($22.00, meetmark.com). That's a great deal because you get five great products plus mints and a connector to connect the lip gloss and mints for a night out. And all of this for only $22.00, which is the price of some luxury nail polishes.

The kit included:

* mark Kissink Lip Tinitmarker in Red Siren (apply this under clear lip gloss for a nice shine)
* mark Glow Baby Glow Hook Up Lip Gloss in Player
* mark Scanda-Lash Hook Up Mascara in Brownout
* mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Nude
* mark I-Glimmer Illuminating Eye Color in Bronzed
* mark Tangerine Hook Up Mints
* mark Hool Up Connector

The good thing is I didn't really have to sort through my make-up, I just put this kit in a make-up bag and tossed it into my bag. All the color are subtle and just a hint of bronze. I think I'm good on buying make-up for a while.

Well, I have to get ready to go.

Enjoy the Weekend!!! Have Fun!!!!

Cute and Portable Mini Lip Glosses

I saw the Goldie Mini Lip Glosses and thought how cute. I'm a sucker for mini lip glosses. These cute little glosses are perfect if you're carrying a small clutch or bag.

Bath and Body works currently have a great deal 3 for $15.00.

The three I bought are: Nylon, Naked and Blossom.

Blossom (first picture) is a subtle pinky-peach shimmer gloss

Nylon (second) is a shimmery nude gloss

Naked (third) is a pinkish-nude gloss
I like the shine that I get from wearing the Goldie glosses and it's quite moisturizing for a lip gloss.

I wore Blossom on a date and he actually said that my lips look very pretty.

Perfect Bronze Lip Gloss for Day

Lately, I have just been wearing CoverGirl Lipslicks in Bronze Goddess ($3.99, drugstores).
I like it because it's a sheer bronze with just a hint of pink and shimmer. The color seems natural and I don't feel like I'm wearing a bold lip color for the day time.
It goes on smooth and not sticky. It's more like a tinted lip balm instead of a lip gloss.
My friend who uses this every now and then says she does not like the smell of the product but I don't really smell anything. I'll let you decide of there is a smell to this gloss or not.
Pretty good product for a pretty good price.

New Make-up Brand featured at Target

I was at Target on Tuesday and noticed a new make-up line called Boots No. 7. Being the lip gloss addict that I am I purchased the Stay Perfect Lip Laquer in Maple ($10.99, Target).

I was a little skeptical because it was a new brand but I thought I would give it a chance.

Boots is a popular brand in the UK, maybe it will become as popular here in the US.

Anyway, I applied the color and let it set for a minute then I applied the shine. Even though this is a color stay lip gloss I didn't find it to be too drying. The color looked very pretty. Maybe I will take this with me to fundraiser because it stayed on without drying out my lips.

Lip Parfait is Better Than Eating Candy

I love cotton candy but I don't want to eat it all the time. I saw this Laura Geller Lip Parfait Lip Gloss ($14.00, Sephora) and couldn't resist.
I bought two: Gramercy Park and Hazelnut. Gramercy Park is a pretty pink gloss and has slight shimmer to it. The Hazelnut is a pinkish brown and also has a slight shimmer.
The consistency is a little thicker than a regular lip gloss. It goes on smooth and It's quite moisturizing. It smells sweet just like candy and it's not sticky.
This is my new favorite lip gloss for now. In a week I'll probably love a new product.
If you are already using this let us know why you like it or don't like it.

Colour Perfect Lip Gloss

Okay, I know I'm a lip gloss addict but I really wanted to try Max Factor Colour Perfection Luxe Gloss ($5.99, drugstores).
The gloss gave a gorgeous shine to my lips and according to the package it contains conditioning petrolatum gel, vitamin E, aloe vera and shea butter to keep lips moisturized.

5-minute Face for Dinner with Friends

Last night, I was going out to dinner with some friends but I didn't have time to go home. I also didn't have my make-up bag with me.

Anyway, Luckly there was a drugstore on my way and I quickly bought eyeshadow, lip gloss and mascara. It took less than 5 minutes to look pretty.

I bought the Maybelline Shadow Stylist in Sophisticated Wine ($5.99, drugstores). I love the spongy applicator tip because I used the tip to line my eyes and the side to put the powder on. It's a pretty good product and it's easy to use.

The lip gloss I bought was Bonne Bell Lip Lites Lip Gloss in Cappucino ($3.50, drugstores). It's a great nude lip gloss with an amazing flavor. The color complimented the eyeshadow rather well. It goes on smooth and doesn't feel sticky. I use to buy Bonne Bell when I was younger maybe I'll try more of these lip glosses.

The last thing I bought was Cover Girl Triple Mascara in Black ($5.99, drugstores). This was easy to put on even under time constraints (I don't like to be late) and it did not irritate my eyes.

Yummy treats for your lips

Pretty much everyone knows I love all types of beauty products. I thought it was very sweet of my aunt to give me this mark. Juice Gems Gift Set ($12.00, avon.com).

The names of the glosses alone are yummy: crème caramel, chocolate fondue and buttercream brioche. But they taste yummy as well. Each color looks amazing and shiny. They are non-sticky or heavy, which I love.

The gift set comes with this sexy little pouch. I consider this a very sweet gift.

Product Feature: Pantina lip balm and gloss

I received some samples from Pantina Cosmetics's Naturally Stunning Spring 2007 Collection. Even though they are not in the stores yet I would like to review them for you.

The first samples are the Pantina Buttery Lip Plumping Balm ($5.00 each). As I stated in a previous post about lip plumping, I can never tell if they are working because my lips are naturally plump.

Aside from that, I do like how smooth the product goes on with just a hint of color and a great tast of peppermint.

They did keep my lips moistured even in cold weather (I tested them on really cold days). They also, contain shea butter, peppermint essential oils and vitamins C & E. I have no complaint against this product. I like the sleek pink and white design of the tube (has a clear detachable top).

The second samples are the Pantina Fusion Gloss ($4.50 each). These are great little products that provide a really nice shiny (non-glazed donut) look. It's a sheer gel gloss. I also love the Asian inspired scents and flavors they are avaible in such as: Mandarin Green Tea, Lycee Lollipops and Asian Pear Punch.

I love the product but I'm not so keen on the bottle design, it kind of reminds me of a nail polish bottle.

I think this product would look great in a sleek twist bottle that can fit nicely in your purse or jeans.

A best selling lip gloss? Are you using it.

I was a little curious about the Tropez Ultra Glaze Lip Gloss ($1.99, Walgreens) because they are always flying off the shelves. I figured if they're always gone must be a great little product.

I bought one of the tubes and it wasn't a bad product.

It goes on smooth and shiny (but not too shiny) and non-sticky. Also, no waxy smell or taste, but, it not likely to stay on long unless you apply a sealer.

I'm sure this is just my issue but I can feel it on. I don't like to feel make-up but it seems to not be an issue for all the other girls who buy it (it's probably just me).

Aside from that it's not bad nor is the price. I think I would buy it again.

Look Good while during something Good

As I have stated in previous posts, I love lip gloss.

Another favorite of mine is M.A.C. Tinted Lipglass VIVA GLAM V ($14.00, maccosmetics.com or wherever M.A.C. cosmetics are sold).

It's goes smooth and with a shiny finish. It's a perfect nude shade with just a hint of pink, but the real reason I love this lip gloss is all the proceeds go to the M.A.C Aids fund.

I feel like I'm doing my part everytime I apply this.

Gorgeous Glossy Lips

I love lip gloss. I like it when it shiny but not too shiny or sticky. With Revlon Skinlights Glosslights for lips in Opal ($5.39, drugstore.com) I get a nice shine without looking like a glazed donut or my lips feeling really sticky.

It has a sheer and translucent coverage which you can wear alone or with other gloss or lipstick. The price for this lipgloss is high depending on where you buy it, I have seen it marked for $11.99, $8.99, $9.00, etc.

I buy mine from drugstore.com because it's only $5.39 for the opal shade, $4.79 for both Topaz and Rose Quartz and $5.09 for Amethyst.
