Product Feature: Men's Nautica N-Series Jeans

A while back I posted an N-Series contest and since then I have recently received three pairs of the Nautica Jeans Men's N-Series Straight Leg Jeans (retailing $45.00 each). Seeing as though I am happily single, I decided to give a pair to my dad. I had him test them and write down his review:

"Good fit and not tight anywhere." "Nice casual jean you can wear on the weekend or put on after work." "The color looks like it has a little green tint to it but nothing that to noticeable." "Light but durable, good quality material" (my dad's very practical)." "Can wear with almost any shirt." I forgot to add "they are not tight on the legs", I saw them and they are not tight, they are a straight leg with a little give or a little baggy in the legs.

A question I asked him: Would you go to the store and buy them? He said "yes, because these jeans would last a while and guys just don't go shopping all the time for new clothes".

My dad might not be the target demographic (20-something guys) for this product but he proved that you don't always have to be in that golden target market (18-34) to wear or use a product.

You're probably wondering what I'm going to do with the the other two pair well I'm going to have two contests to give them away to two lucky readers. More details to come.

Product Feature: Body Scrub

I recently received a sample gift bag from Maryam's Soap Nook that contained a few products. All the products are natural and hand made.

I wanted to review the products one at a time. The first product I tried was the Shea Butter and Dead Sea Salt Glow Scrub ($15 for 8 oz jar or $25 for 16 oz jar, maryam-soap-nook.com).

It's moisturizing and thick. I like this scrub because even though it's packed in oil it didn't leave my skin feeling super slick. It left the right amount of oil. You don't need to use a lot of this for it to work. It has a pleasant scent but not overpowering and it does not linger. However, those who are use to fancy packaging might not like the way it's packaged. For me it doesn't matter because I don't buy beauty products for the bottle or box. I buy it for the results.

Would I purchase this product? Yes, because it really does work. It's good quality and different plus I like to show support for small businesses. My skin is normally dry and this made it soft and smooth.

If you prefer a different scents, she also has 15 other Glow Scrubs to choose from. As with any new product check to make sure there are no skin irritations, even though this is a natural and hand made product it's always best to check.

Product Feature: Pantina lip balm and gloss

I received some samples from Pantina Cosmetics's Naturally Stunning Spring 2007 Collection. Even though they are not in the stores yet I would like to review them for you.

The first samples are the Pantina Buttery Lip Plumping Balm ($5.00 each). As I stated in a previous post about lip plumping, I can never tell if they are working because my lips are naturally plump.

Aside from that, I do like how smooth the product goes on with just a hint of color and a great tast of peppermint.

They did keep my lips moistured even in cold weather (I tested them on really cold days). They also, contain shea butter, peppermint essential oils and vitamins C & E. I have no complaint against this product. I like the sleek pink and white design of the tube (has a clear detachable top).

The second samples are the Pantina Fusion Gloss ($4.50 each). These are great little products that provide a really nice shiny (non-glazed donut) look. It's a sheer gel gloss. I also love the Asian inspired scents and flavors they are avaible in such as: Mandarin Green Tea, Lycee Lollipops and Asian Pear Punch.

I love the product but I'm not so keen on the bottle design, it kind of reminds me of a nail polish bottle.

I think this product would look great in a sleek twist bottle that can fit nicely in your purse or jeans.

Cosmetics for $1.00

My friend J. referred the e.l.f. (eyes, lips and face) products (http://www.eyeslipsface.com) to me. I checked out the website and looked at a few products.

All of the cosmetics are $1.00 each. The only products that are not one dollar are their tools, cosmetic bags and gift sets.

I haven't used any of these products yet but I will be soon.

Cosmetics for a $1.00 that's a bargain. It worked for Wet n' Wild cosmetics and they are still around.
